I'm so glad you shared this! We had a robin nesting in our arborvitae row. The darned winds came and blew the nest sideways losing two eggs to the ground. We tried to prop it to save the other two, only worked for a few days. The weight of mama and the wind dropped the nest and other two eggs. Four eggs lost. It was sad. Now I get to see four eggs hatched!!! Yay!!!!
Lynn, I guess my mama robin was smart to put her nest at my door after all. Although I am sad that your robin lost all her eggs. Maybe it's not too late in the season for her to try again!
Oh bless them! They are so fragile and naked looking. How wonderful to be able to watch them grow. Can't wait till they are little fluff balls! Thanks so much for sharing them with us!
